Ghosts are headed back to Mystic Falls as a violent wind storm causes a power outage in the town in the next episode of “The Vampire Diaries“. Some ghosts return with good intentions and some others are bent on revenge.
Another emergency situations arises as Sheriff Forbes calls Damon and Stefan to the hospital, telling them that someone has drained people of blood. They suspect that Silas has something to do with this and that he is up for something big.
Still trying to force Katherine to help her, Bonnie refuses to give up on her plan to defeat Silas. However, Damon realizes that they have to stop Bonnie from doing her powerful spell that will remove the veil between the living and the dead.
Meanwhile, as Graduation Day approaches, Caroline tries to distract Elena by focusing on simple tasks like sending out announcements, but Elena won’t be swayed from her new obsession.
“The Walking Dead” will air Thursday, May 9 at 9/8c on The CW.

There’s still two episodes left before “The Vampire Diaries” wraps its fourth season, but a first look at the season ender has landed online via TV Guide. The photo features Elena looking at a wound on Damon’s chest and she looks concerned. This leads to a question whether the emotionless Elena will get her humanity back.
“We have a lot of questions on the table about Elena,” executive producer Julie Plec dishes on Nina Dobrev’s character. “Is she stuck this way forever? Is she ever going to turn her humanity back on? If she does, will the sire bond be back in effect or gone? If it’s gone, what are her feelings for Damon vs. her feelings for Stefan? The whole season has been trying to get Elena back to who she was, so everything will be answered in the finale.”
The season 4 finale of “Vampire Diaries” will air Thursday, May 16 at 8/7c on The CW. In this week’s episode to air May 2, Damon will put one of Elena’s friends in danger in an attempt to get Elena’s emotion back.
The fantasy drama series has been renewed for a fifth season by the network.

Caroline (Candice Accola) receives a touching and unexpected graduation present, and Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) plan leads to the closing of the veil. Elena (Nina Dobrev) makes a decision about the Salvatore brothers and faces an epic confrontation with Katherine (Nina Dobrev). Finally, Stefan (Paul Wesley) discovers a horrifying clue to the mystery surrounding Silas. Chris Grismer directed the episode written by Caroline Dries & Julie Plec (#423).
